THE Wakefield Co-operative Bank has made a $2,500 donation to the Wakefield Independence Day Parade Committee to help bring back the parade. This is the largest donation to date and will help pay for the two dozen marching bands and drum corps scheduled to march on the Fourth of July. The Wakefield Independence Day Parade Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation and all donations are tax deductible.
