THE WAKEFIELD MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL Marching Band and Color Guard scored a 96 and a platinum medal at a rain soaked NESBA Finals Sunday in Medford, earning them second place in the division behind Dartmouth, who compete all over the country. The kids put on their best show of the year despite performing in a chilly downpour. The Drum Majors won the award for best performance, too. Pictured are Drum Majors Cara Mogan, Bridget Konitzer and Erin McCormack saluting the judges after Color Guard Captains Alyssa Kirk, Gabby White and Nina DiCarlo have bitten them, turning them into vampires.
