OBIT_Priscilla-Chick-webMELROSE — Priscilla E. (MacLeod) Chick passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was 86. Priscilla was born in Boston, raised in Roxbury and Melrose, and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1947.

Mrs. Chick worked throughout her life with numerous jobs for Eastern Battery, Cerretani’s Market and Cerretani’s Gourmet Shop. She ended her career working as a payroll clerk at Citicorp for over 10 years.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, doing puzzles, watching Family Feud and going camping. Priscilla loved taking trips with her late husband Ed to Gloucester and Canada, and going to her cottage in Stoddard, N.H. during the spring, summer and fall.

Mrs. Chick was the beloved wife of the late Edward G. Chick and the loving mother of Leland A. Chick of Derry, N.H.; Priscilla Eustis of Malden and Melissa Chick of Salem. She was the devoted grandmother of Eric, Joshua, Natasha and Rachel and the cherished great-grandmother of six.

Priscilla was the sister of the late Frank MacLeod and his wife Lucy of Colorado, the late Irene and Charlie Cerretani, and the late Ann Graves and her husband Lee of Melrose. She was the aunt of David Cerretani, Cathe Cerretani, Diana Cerretani, Linda Arsenault and the late Bruce Cerretani as well as several nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. At Priscilla’s request there will be no services. Arrangements were in the care of the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose.
