MELROSE — Raymond Cerulo, 66, of Melrose and formerly of Wakefield, died peacefully at Hallmark Health of Melrose on May 25. He was born in Needham on May 16, 1950 and was the beloved son of the late Marino and June (Seymour) Cerulo.
Ray was a dedicated employee of Brandeis University for 45 years until his retirement in 2014. He enjoyed all Boston sports teams, doing his crossword puzzles and trips to Maine He also enjoyed chatting up anyone he met. He had a heart of gold and was a gift to anyone who was blessed enough to have him in their lives.
Ray is survived by his wife Beverly (Rogers) Cerulo and his son Kevin of Haverhill. He was the brother of Peter Cerulo of Melrose and Elizabeth Anderson of Conway, S.C. and the late George, Richard and Dominic Cerulo, Barbara Jones and Dorothy Landry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his good friends Mary Rogers and Catherine Cronin.
Funeral services will be private and are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
