WAKEFIELD — Robert W. Burke, 43, of Wakefield passed away March 9, 2015 at his residence.
Born on Nov. 13, 1971, he was the loving son of Charlotte (Lloyd) Burke of Wakefield and the late Joeby Burke.
Robert was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1989. He later graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2002. He enjoyed writing and playing online video games. He also enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Wakefield, N.H.
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his loving siblings Janice Burke and her companion John Malonson of Melrose, Terry Shedd and Randy Burke, both of Wakefield and Patti Plante and her husband Michael of Wilmington. He is also survived by his niece Jessica and two nephews Dan and Jonathan.
His funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 1 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
