obitCiarlante-webWAKEFIELD — Frank Ciarlante, a 38-year resident of Wakefield, entered into eternal life suddenly on Monday, March 9, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose. He was 66 years old.

Frank was born in Lynn on Oct. 9, 1948, a son of the late John and Esther (Fritz) Ciarlante. He grew up in Lynn where he was educated in the Lynn Public School system and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1966.

Following his graduation from high school, Frank began working for Ferro Ceramics, which was located in Wakefield at the time, and was currently a foreman with Ferro Ceramics, re-located to Wilmington, with 49 years of dedicated service.

He enjoyed boating, jet skiing, camping and his love of music made him the disc jockey he was.

Most of all, Frank’s passion in his life was his family and friends especially his wife Dolores and his daughter Rachael and her family.

Frank was the adored husband of 43 years to Dolores M. (Francis) Ciarlante. He was the devoted father of Rachael Wolek and her husband Jonathan of New Jersey. He was the loving Papa to Camryn and Bradley Wolek. He was the beloved brother of Nicholas Ciarlante and his wife Dianna of Georgia and Maria Ciarlante of Lynn. He was also the loving uncle to C.J. Ciarlante.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank’s funeral on Saturday, March 14, at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St., Wakefield/Melrose line followed by his funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. His burial will be private.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, March 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
