NORTH READING — Repairs are currently underway on the Washington Street bridge over the Ipswich River. The Mass. Department of Transportation, through its contractor, NEL Corporation of Middleton, is strengthening several components of the structure. At times, traffic will be limited to one lane.
This may lead to minor delays during the work hours, which are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This work is scheduled to be complete by Aug. 26.
