WAKEFIELD — Ruth Weipert, 83, of Wakefield and formerly from Canton, died Aug. 26, 2014 in Wakefield.
She leaves her children, Judith Sacks and her husband Stan of Lynnfield, Sylvia Kano and her husband Igor of Wolfsburg, Germany, and Steven Weipert and his wife Edith of Alamogordo, N.M.; four grandchildren, Neal and Jessica Sacks and Denise and Daniel Weipert.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Faith Lutheran Youth Scholarship Fund, 360 South Main St., Andover, MA 01810.
