WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Senior Little League Baseball semifinal playoff match-ups are set. The semifinal series are a best two of three games with the winners advancing to the best-of-three final.
Starting on Thursday, June 18, it will the Nationals vs. Mets at 5:45 p.m. at Moulton Field and the Astros vs. Yankees at 5:45 p.m. at Walsh Field in Game 1 of the two respective series.
On Saturday, June 20, Game 2 of each series will be played. The Mets vs. Nationals will be at 4:45 p.m. at Walsh Field and Yankees vs. Astros at 4:45 p.m. at Moulton Field.
On Monday, June 22, Game 3 (if necessary) will feature the Nationals vs. Mets at 5:45 p.m. at Sullivan Park and Astros vs. Yankees at 5:45 p.m. at Moulton Field.
All the games of the best-of-three final will be at Walsh Field. Games 1 and 2 are slated to be played on Tuesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 25 at 5:45 p.m. If necessary, Game 3 will be Friday, June 26 at 5:45 p.m.
