WAKEFIELD — The Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield, a unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, still has openings for its Summer Adventure Programs, starting on June 29.

The club has openings for its Adventure Program at their location 467 Main St., Lower Level of The Americal Civic Center.

Each week will have different Themed Activities. New this year is a Creative Arts Program which consist of a Short Filmed Program and a Music Program. For more information on these program please go online or call the club.

The cost of this program is $100 per week and an additional fee for extended day hours.

The club will also be bringing back the Open Parks Program this summer for the residents in Wakefield. This program will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

The program is open to Wakefield residents ages 6-13 and will feature playground games, arts and crafts, baseball, football, soccer, basketball, board games and much more throughout the summer.

The club is excited to expand its parks program this summer and will have programs at parks throughout the summer. This year the Boys & Girls Club will only be conducting the Parks Programs at the Moulton Playground. The program would not be possible without the assistance of the Wakefield Recreation Commission.

You can register at the Boys & Girls Club at 467 Main St., lower level of the Americal Civic Center or at the Moulton Playground, the cost will be $50 for the summer.
