Will take part in competition at Boston Cannons game on Aug. 6

BOSTON — The Boston Cannons announced the finalists in the Dunkin’ Donuts Skills Competition which will be decided before the team’s final home game on Aug. 6 at Harvard Stadium.

The Cannons and Dunkin’ Donuts hosted Skills Competitions in communities throughout the region to determine the finalists. In the competition, kids ages 14 and under compete in three different lacrosse skills challenges against peers in their age group.

The finalists will compete on the Harvard Stadium field from 11 a.m.-noon and winners will be recognized during an awards ceremony during the Cannons game against the Florida Launch. Along with on-field recognition, winners in each age group will receive two 2017 Boston Cannons silver season ticket memberships, a custom Cannons jersey and a pair of Boston Red Sox tickets in the Dunkin’ Dugout.

The Wakefield finalists included John Curran, Zachary Sartori, Jack Palmer, Kyleigh Formicola, Annabella Forziati and Cailyn Wesley.

The 2016 Dunkin’ Donuts Skills Competition Finalists are as follows:

Boys’ Division:

Under 11 — Nate Gulchenski (Northboro/Southboro), Luke Harwich (Northboro/Southboro), Johnny Price (Charlestown), Zach Adams (Plymouth), Wyatt Iantosca (Hopkinton), Antonion Ciolfi (Foxboro), Ryan Huckabone (Newton), Andrew Ozgen (Lexington) and Curran.

Under 13 — Rafael Knapp (Northboro/Southboro), Nico Berger (Charlestown), Harrison O’Brien (Plymouth), Nick Neccese (Hopkinton), Matty Tulley (Foxboro), George Madison (Newton), Jack Pappendick (Lexington) and Sartori (Wakefield).
