According to DPW Director Richard Stinson, the night work being performed will include milling of the existing surface, repaving, traffic markings and miscellaneous items. The work will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the setup of roadway safety equipment. The actual milling, paving or traffic markings will begin around 9 p.m. The work will be completed by 5:30 a.m. the next morning.
The first phase of the project is the milling of the roadway.
Once the milling phase of the project is completed, the town’s contractor will begin work on the adjusting of roadway structures. This work will be done during the daytime hours.
The goal is to complete all work prior to June 20, 2015. Please note, all work is weather permitting. If work is delayed due to weather or other circumstances it will be moved forward one day or until the process is completed.
More detailed timing notices will be distributed during the various phases of the project.
All vehicles should be removed from the roadway in accordance with the schedule above.
