MELROSE — The third Summer Stroll: An Adult Evening on Main Street, will be held tonight, Friday, July 17, between Upham and Grove streets.
That stretch of the downtown business district will be closed to traffic from 6 to 9 p.m. as area musicians perform, local restaurants serve food and beverages on the sidewalk and other merchants offer demonstrations, specials and sales within their stores.
The YMCA will offer babysitting services. Call 781-665-4360 for more information.
The event is sponsored by the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the City of Melrose.
All residents are encouraged to take some time to stroll Main Street and discover what makes downtown Melrose so special.
