NORTH READING — Students from NRHS are gearing up for the annual Dollars for Scholars Phone-a-Thon in the early evening hours of Monday, March 6 through Thursday, March 9.
Students will volunteer their time at NRHS from 6-8:30 p.m. each night to call members of the community, explain the scholarship fundraiser, and ask for donations. The Phone-a-Thon is the main fundraiser for the organization’s scholarships that benefit North Reading seniors and post-graduate college students. All funds raised directly benefit scholarship awards.
As a reminder to seniors and post-graduates, the local Dollars for Scholars scholarship application process opened Feb. 1. To apply go to: northreading.dollarsforscholars.org.
