WAKEFIELD — The great community events just keep coming.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, the town will host the seventh ‘Tis the Season Holiday Stroll from 2:45 to 7 p.m. in downtown Wakefield.

The Holiday Stroll promises all the fun and excitement of recent years, as well as the recent Festival Italia. The core of the Stroll will remain the same. The Hat Parade will begin at 3 p.m starting at the Americal Civic Center. Main Street and Albion Street will be transformed into a pedestrian mall with carolers and entertainers on the street and in various businesses, singers, magician, bands and much more. The stores will be wrapped for the holiday inviting the many revelers into their businesses. They hope you will be part of this community event that brought over 7,500 people into the downtown area last year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 5 and come for the Holiday Stroll.

Do you have time to help spread the word about the 2015 Holiday Stroll? Become an ambassador and help by distributing flyers to restaurants, merchants, schools, churches and organizations.
