WAKEFIELD — The Scholarship Foundation (TSF) of Wakefield will hold its 38th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 23 at Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham.  Golfers can sign up for this popular event at the TSF website: TSFofWakefield.org.  The tournament will have a noon shotgun start and is limited to 64 players. The format will be a scramble, whereby team members each take a drive, then all players hit their next shot from where the team’s “best shot” landed and this process continues until the first ball is holed out.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishing teams. Additional awards will include the longest drive on the 12th hole, the closest to the line on the 10th hole, and the closest to the pin on the four par-three holes. The top prize will be $500 for the first hole-in-one on the 7th hole.

Enjoy a beautiful afternoon of golf followed by a delicious dinner buffet, awards and raffle prizes, all while supporting TSF and its mission of assisting local students with scholarship aid.

We are incredibly grateful to Middlesex Gases for their generous support as our Gold Tournament Sponsor.

The cost for 18 holes of golf, including a cart and dinner buffet, is $150 per player if paid by September 15. Following that date, the cost is $175 per person.  This is a great opportunity to play a beautiful private course.

Players and teams can register at TSFofWakefield.org/golf-tournament and registration forms can also be downloaded from the website. Mail payments to TSF of Wakefield – Golf Tournament, P.O. Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.  If you cannot join us, please consider sponsoring a tee for $150 or donating a raffle prize.

Further information is available at TSFofWakefield.org/golf or by calling the TSF office at (781) 245-4890. The field is limited to the first 64 players, so don’t delay, sign up now.
