MELROSE — Hear ye! Hear ye! Theatre To Go, Inc. is proud to present William Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor on May 8, 9, 15-17. Join us as we journey back to merry old England and explore the antics of Falstaff and his friends in this farcical adventure.
The production is directed by Barbara Fulchino of Everett, produced by Maria Sundquist of Medford, and has a cast of many talented actors including: Michael Gilman as “Falstaff”, Amy Cook as “Mistress Margaret Page”, Mike Cherone as “Mr George Page”, Thera Driscoll as “Miss Anne Page”, Sharon Dow as “Mistress Alice Ford”, Ron Cook as “Mr Frank Ford”, Michael Levy as “Dr. Caius”, Matthew Lundergan as “Slender”, Tim Kirchner as “Fenton”, Kate Beattie as “Mistress Quickly”, Martin Fucio as “Sir Hugh Evans”, Fred Nuzzo as “Robert Shallow”, Fallon Kirchner as “Peter Simple”/”Robert”/Wife 1, Kathryn Rutkowski as “Hostess of the Garter”, Emma Dannenberg as “Robin”, Margaret Healey as “Pistol”, Sherri Raftery as “Nym”, Sarah Clark as “John Rugby” and Chris Tinkham as “Fairy”.
Production dates are Friday and Saturday, May 8, 9 and May 15-16, at 8 p.m., as well as Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. Performances will be at the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church in Melrose, 131 W. Emerson St. Tickets are available at Hourglass Gift Gallery, Main Street, Melrose for pre-sale. Tickets are also available online at www.theatretogo.com. Cost for pre-sale tickets is $15 for adults, $13 for students/ seniors. After May 7, tickets are $17 for adults, $15 students/ seniors.
Theatre To Go, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is supported in part by a grant from the Melrose Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. We are Artists in Residence at Trinity Episcopal Church and have been performing in Melrose since 2013.
Over the years, we have performed such classic favorites as Our Town, Death of A Salesman and You Can’t Take It With You and new favorites such as The Trading Post this past winter. We generally produce 3 main stage shows per year.
