Townshend, Cosgrove represented Council #104

DUDLEY — On Nov. 15, the Knights of Columbus had the Soccer Challenge State Finals for boys and girls, ages 9-14, at Nichols College in Dudley. Wakefield Council #104 had two boys representing it in the finals and both emerged as state champs.

William Townshend, age 10, scored 235 points to win and Liam Cosgrove, age 12, scored 240 points to win. These were the two highest scores for all the boys who competed.

Townshend also won the state title last year as a 9 year old.
