WAKEFIELD — The Veterans Advisory Board is looking to fill two vacancies on its board for terms beginning June 1.
Interested persons should be committed to promoting council programs and veterans issues. Board members assist in assessing the needs of the veterans community as an advisory board.
Membership is open to all age groups with a focus of representation from the female veterans community and OIF/OEF service members.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.
Those interested in applying please send letter of interest and resume to Sherri Dalton at the Town Administrator’s Office, One Lafayette St. or by e-mail to sdalton@wakefield.ma.us by May 21.
