LYNNFIELD — Virginia E. LaCoste, 90, a Lynnfield resident since 1949, died at her home on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016. Born in Dorchester on Nov. 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Enid (Sampson) Stephan.
Virginia was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of Dorchester High School. After graduating she entered into nursing school and became a Certified Nurse’s Aid. She was a member of the Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield. Virginia enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother and she loved caring for babies.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. LaCoste and the loving mother of Richard S. LaCoste, Lauren G. LaCoste and Donald G. LaCoste, all of Lynnfield, and Susan R. Vollor and Julie E. DiMeo of North Reading.
She was also the sister of Muriel Lundgren of Salem, N.H., Robert Stephan of North Andover and the late Richard and George Stephan. Virginia is also survived by her three grandchildren, David, Kimberly and Jack.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield.
Virginia’s funeral services will be held at a later date.
