A generous man who had many talents

WAKEFIELD — Dennis G. McLennan, 54 of Wakefield died Thursday, December 23.

Born in Malden, March 21, 1967 he was the son of Jessie (Robbins) McLennan and the late Frank McLennan.

Dennis was raised in Saugus and was graduate of Saugus High School Extension. He was an avid fisherman and Bruins fan and he also loved to cook. He was currently working as a mechanic for Salem St. Auto in Saugus. Dennis will be remembered by those who knew him as being a very generous man, but he was a man of many talents.

He is survived by his beloved mother Jessie McLennan of Wakefield, his three brothers Tim McLennan and his wife, Kelly, of Wakefield and Dan McLennan of Saugus and Robert McLennan and his wife, Suzanne, of Lynn. Along with his longtime girlfriend of 17 years Sheri Ciambello and her daughter Reece. He was the nephew of George Robbins and his wife, Jan, and their daughter Bella and his aunt Margie Callahan. He was the uncle of Bryan, Allisa, Tim Jr., Brittney, Tara, E.J. Alex and JoJo and grand uncle of Teagan, Fallan, Haleigh and Tim III.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held church prior to the Mass from 9-11 a.m.
