Longtime resident of Wakefield who worked for Polaroid

WAKEFIELD — Vincent L. Cocco, 86, passed away on January 4, 2022.

Born in Malden, Vincent grew up in the Edgeworth section of the city. He worked for Polaroid for 30 years and was a longtime resident of Wakefield.

Vincent was preceded in death by his late wife Gilda R. (Musto) Cocco. He was the longtime companion of Ann Fitzgerald. Vincent was the loving father of Vincent P. Cocco of Wakefield, Michael J. Cocco and his wife, Jean, of Woburn and Lisa A.C. Houh and her husband, Henry, of Lexington. He was the dear brother of Mary Smeglin and the late Morris Cocco and his late wife, Dorothy. Vincent was the brother-in-law of Patrick Musto, John Musto and the late Sebastion Musto. He was the cherished grandfather of Vincent R. Houh, Angela X. Houh and Sofia H. Houh. Vincent is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held on Monday, January 10 followed by interment in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
