A husband and father who was an auto body specialist

TOPSFIELD — Mr. Christopher R. Muise, 63, of Topsfield, formerly of Saugus and Wakefield, died on January 1, 2022 after a battle with COVID-19. He was the husband of Bonnie Muise with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

Born in Woburn and raised in Wakefield and Billerica, he was the son of the late George and Hazel (Griffith) Muise. A graduate of Wakefield High School, he worked for many years as an auto body specialist (even serving as head of the Massachusetts Autobody Association), photographer, and inventor. Although to Chris, his most important vocation was that of “father.” He was a member of the Orientals Hot Rod Club of Reading and the National Hot Rod Association.

Besides his wife, Chris is survived by his sons: Christopher Muise and his wife, Allison, of Saugus; TJ, Lee, Riley and Thomas all of Topsfield. He was the brother of David Muise of Wilmington, Frances Marshall of Wakefield, Marie Grella of Amherst, NH and the late Patricia Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
