Talented crafter, loving mother was a graduate of WHS Class of 1981

WAKEFIELD — Lynne J. Serrentino, 58, of Wakefield died at her home on Monday September 20.

Born in Melrose on July 28, 1963 she was the daughter of Pasquale C. and Sandra (Rolfe) Serrentino.

Lynne was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1981. She was a longtime employee of J.N. Phillips Glass Company and Wakefield Sanitation Inc. Lynne was a talented crafter using ceramic, wood, and steel. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t create. Lynne was a very loving mother, daughter and friend and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was most dedicated to her son Jesse and her dog Brie.

Lynne is survived by her son Jesse Malonson of Wakefield and son Neil Cavanough, her parents Pasquale and Sandra Serrentino of Wakefield and her brother Vincent Serrentino of Peabody. She was preceded in death by her brother Dana Serrentino.

Her funeral service will be held at the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Wakefield on Saturday at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

Interment, Lakeside Cemetery Wakefield.
