WAKEFIELD — The Jimmy Fund Little League season is underway in Wakefield.
Wakefield Little League has 10 Jimmy Fund teams participating this year, ages varying from 7-12-years-old.
The Jimmy Fund Little League is celebrating its 39th season this summer. The goal is to extend the Little League season for all players while most importantly raising funds for patient care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Each Wakefield Jimmy Fund team is working hard to raise money and take a swing at cancer.
