A life member of Wakefield Sons of Italy and St. Florence Parish

WAKEFIELD — Lydia E. DiNanno, 84, of Wakefield, died on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Everett on June 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Evelyn (Cincotti) Senibaldi.

Mrs. DiNanno was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1950. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 58 years. Mrs. DiNanno was a life member of the Wakefield Sons of Italy and St. Florence Parish in Wakefield.

Mrs. DiNanno was the wife of the late Jino DiNanno. She is survived by her two sons; Michael DiNanno and Richard J. DiNanno and his wife Mirta all of Wakefield, her daughter Gina M. LeBlanc and husband Robert of Wakefield, her four grandchildren; Michelle, Erica, Ashley and Joseph, her four brothers; Lawrence Senibaldi, Jr., Leonard Senibaldi, Eugene Senibaldi, Douglas Senibaldi and her sister Marilyn Bioni. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. DiNanno was predeceased by her two brothers; Frank Senibaldi and Edward Senibaldi.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
