U.S. Army veteran, enjoyed playing golf

WAKEFIELD — Arnold P. Chirichetti, 86, of Wakefield died at his home on Monday September 7, 2020.
Born in Malden October 23, 1933 he was the son of the late Angelo and Eva Chirichetti.
Arnold was a graduate of Malden High School and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Arnold was a retired vice president from John Hancock Life Insurance Company. He enjoyed playing golf, taking trips to Las Vegas and playing scratch tickets.
He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia (Snow) Chirichetti, his daughter Ava L. Chirichetti of Stoneham, his son Darren Chirichetti and his wife Margret of Wakefield and his brother Lou Chirichetti of California. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Kirsten Sletterink and Jessica Chirichetti.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
