FORT MYERS, FL. — Walter Glavin, of Fort Myers, Fla., previously of North Reading, passed away Aug. 16. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (McLaughlin) and the father of Janet Equi of North Andover, Ellen Saulnier and her husband Steve of Middleton, Steven and his wife Laura of Arizona and Dianne Hardiman and her husband Scott of New Hampshire.
He was the son of the late Walter and Helen Glavin and the brother of Virginia “Ginny” DeAngelis and her husband Joseph of North Andover. Walter was the grandfather of Ali, Katie, Lizzy, Bella, Cara, Will and Sean.
His funeral was held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church, 63 Winter St. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
