Walter-Ladd-Obit-webLONDONDERRY, NH — Walter E. “Wally” Ladd, Jr. – 71, of Londonderry, NH and formerly of North Reading and Malden, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry, NH.

Born in Malden on July 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Walter E. Sr. and Ruth (Doherty) Ladd. He was raised and attended School in Malden. Wally worked for the Town of North Reading. He was a Bus Driver for the North Reading Senior Center for 20 years. He was a resident of Londonderry, NH for the past 26 years and a former resident of North Reading for 15 years.

Wally would help everyone, he would give you the shirt off his back. He was very dedicated to his family, he was a loving father and grandfather.

He loved to fish and he enjoyed going to the Manchester Airport to watch the planes land and take off. He was a golfer and he loved playing horseshoes at the annual Kavanaugh party. He loved to camp and going to his summer place in York, Maine.

He was the loving father of Lisa Lewis and her husband Garry of Atkinson, NH and Annette Keighley and her husband Charlie of Pelham, NH; grandfather of Ryan and Austin Lewis of Atkinson, NH, Brittany and Greg Penta of Newton, NH and Mike and Joshua Keighley of Pelham, NH. He was the companion of Maddie Adams of North Reading.

Calling hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, June 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice. www.croswellfuneralhome.com
