CHELSEA — Wayne B. Toth, a longtime Chelsea resident formerly of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, January 10.

He was the devoted husband of the late Carolyne (Badessa) Toth. He was the beloved father of Jonathan B. Toth of Chelsea. He was the brother of Myron A. Toth and his wife Bonnie and Douglas W. Toth, all of Wakefield, and the late Susan DeVita and Marsha Oakes. Also lovingly survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Tuesday, January 17, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut St., Chelsea at 9:30 a.m.

Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Born in Malden and a resident of Chelsea for many years, Wayne passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital late Tuesday evening.

Wayne grew up in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School, Class of 1959.

A United States Air Force veteran, he worked for over 30 years as a tech representative for Xerox.
