WAKEFIELD — William B. “Bill” Lang, 76, of Wakefield passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital. 

Born in Malden on March 8, 1944, Bill was one of six children of the late Bertil G and Annie E. (Hamilton) Lang. He grew up in Dorchester and graduated from South Boston High School.

Bill met and later married his beloved Paulette “PJ” Leone and shared many years together. Bill worked in the leather industry for many years. When the leather industry had difficulties, Bill moved to driving a limousine for Boston Coach Corporation for 21 years.

Bill loved people. He enjoyed making his young relatives laugh and shared his love of history with educational trips to local sites.

Bill leaves his sister Carol Hamer of South Boston, David A. Lang and wife Barbara ( deceased) of Weymouth, brother Donald G. Lang (diseased) of Dorchester, brother Michael J. Lang and wife Elaine of Braintree, and sister Kristina Wisnaskas and husband Robert of Whitman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Bill will be private. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
