MELROSE — The Melrose Winter Festival, a free event open to all ages, will be held this year on Thursday, Feb. 23, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Hood Golf Course Clubhouse.

Get out of the house and celebrate the winter at Mount Hood Memorial Park. Come take in the sights, sounds, and all of the beautiful winter views that the park has to offer.

Organizers will be having games, activities, entertainment, music, face painting, ice skating (weather permitting), snow shoeing, trail walking, hot cocoa, and a huge free BBQ for all who attend. Don’t miss out on all of the fun and surprises that we have in store. Dress warm and we look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

IMPORTANT PARKING INFO

All public parking for the event will be held at Melrose Incarnation Church on Upham Street. Shuttle bus service will transport all attendees to and from the event from 12:00pm – 2:30pm. No public parking is allowed at Mt. Hood for this event. Families are permitted to drop-off passengers at Mt. Hood but they will not be permitted to park or wait in their cars as this will block the shuttle service.
