MELROSE — A repair café is a free community event focused on repairing things for free. Bring your broken household items like lamps, small kitchen appliances, furniture, clothing, textiles and more. Volunteers will assess broken items. They may fix them for you or help make a plan for how and where to get the items repaired. Also, SDM Foundation will answer questions you have about laptops and cellphones.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at the Milano Center, 240 West Foster St. Save your stuff, learn a new skill, have fun! For more information, contact lend-mend.com/events.
