NORTH READING — Howard R. “Skip” Goodwin of North Reading passed away July 31. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Hallett) Goodwin and the cherished father of Denise LaRochelle and her husband Laurence of Dracut and Deborah Goff and her husband James of Townsend.
Howard was also the adored brother of Edwin Goodwin of New Hampshire and Sandra Byrne of South Carolina and also leaves his lifelong friend Raynor Gagnon. Howard’s funeral was held on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 9:30 a.m. from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church, 63 Winter St. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howard’s name to the Boston Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Dr., Suite 202, Cambridge MA 02140.
