MELROSE — Nearly three dozen Melrose High School athletes were awarded Middlesex Freedom All League honors for their competitive 2016 spring season. Of note, track and field star Ann Morrison was named co-MVP of the Middlesex League and the entire starting lineup of the MHS boys’ tennis team earned All-Star status, after helping the team earn another league title, their first sole league title in 70 years.
