BOSTON – Hannah and Olivia Dziadyk, four-sport varsity athletes at Wakefield Memorial High School, have been selected to play in the Bay State Games showcasing their basketball skills.
The Bay State Summer Games are Massachusetts own Olympic-style athletic competition that are held annually in the month of July. Hannah and Olivia were selected to play on the Metro West team under coach Brian Harris. The games will be held at the Reggie Lewis Center Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16.
The twin duo are excited about the upcoming high school season, as Hannah and Olivia are the only four-year varsity players on the girls’ WMHS basketball team, and look forward to having another successful year.
The girls also play for the North Shore Blizzard coached by Kevin Barboza. The girls have traveled this spring and summer throughout New England with the North Shore Blizzards showcasing their basketball talents, along with qualifying for Nationals.
This past February the girls were honored by the MIAA for National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
The girls also enjoy playing Soccer, Softball, and more recently, Tennis, for Wakefield Memorial High School.
