WAKEFIELD — Catherine A. Collins, 95, a lifelong Wakefield resident died on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Winchester on September 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Donovan) Collins.
Ms. Collins was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1939 and Boston Secretarial School, Class of 1940. She had worked for Continental Insurance Company for 42 years and had retired in May of 1982. Ms. Collins was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield.
She was the sister of the late Margaret M. Collins and is survived by several cousins.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield on Thursday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
