It’s going to be a big weekend for fans of high school theater and team trivia competitions.
Tomorrow around 9 a.m. at Manchester-Essex Regional High School, 36 Lincoln St, Manchester-By-The-Sea, some of our high school’s thespians will perform Arthur Miller’s The Crucible as their entry in this year’s Massachusetts Education Theater Guild High School Drama Festival. We wish them the best.
If you can’t make the performance, the Wakefield Memorial High School Theater Arts will present it again at The Savings Bank Theatre on Farm Street next Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. The Crucible tells the story of the Salem witch trials.
Also tomorrow, at 7 p.m. in St. Joseph Church’s Father Gillis Hall, the annual Trivia Team Challenge will be held to benefit The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield. This is always a successful fundraiser and we hope this year’s is no different.
