By GAIL LOWE WAKEFIELD — The Americal Civic Center was bursting with color and creativity at Visual Arts Night when the artistic endeavors of Wakefield public school students displayed their work on Tuesday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Hundreds of people attended the show to view portraiture, pottery and even Popsicle stick art.
The event is held every spring and gives students the opportunity to showcase their creative talents.
Visual Arts Night is overseen by systemwide Visual Arts Department Coordinator Joy Schilling.
