EVEN superheroes love a parade. Participants in the Summer Reading Program and their guests enjoyed an end-of the-summer celebration at the Lynnfield Public Library on Friday. In keeping with the program theme of "Every Hero Has a Story," the party included a costume parade through the library with the children dressed as their favorite superheroes. The 99 children enrolled logged a combined 1,678 hours of reading this summer and 40 won the grand prize of tickets to the Topsfield Fair with lunch and a ride.  (Maureen Doherty Photo)

Hockey Boosters car wash Aug. 30
