DANVERS — Wrestling captain Sean McCullough has qualified for the New England Championships this weekend.

McCullough punched his ticket to the tournament after finishing seventh in the 182 lb. weight class during the All-State Wresting Tournament at St. John’s Preparatory School on Feb. 22 and 23.

WINTHROP — The Lynnfield High girls’ basketball team ended its regular season on a high note on Feb. 19 as they won at Winthrop, 48-35. With that non-league victory, the Pioneers ended up at 12-8 overall.

PEABODY — The Peabody/Lynnfield/North Reading co-op girls’ hockey team finished up their season with a three-game win streak after winning the Carlin Cup over Bishop Fenwick, 9-1 on Feb. 18, then beating Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover 6-3 on Feb. 20.
