BYFIELD — For the first time since 2015, the Lynnfield High girls’ basketball team is heading to the Division 3 state tournament. The Pioneers punched their ticket last Friday night as they won over host Triton, 47-18 up in Byfield. With that victory, the Pioneers improved to 10-8

Boys’ hockey beats Newburyport for first time in seven years

PEABODY — The Lynnfield High boys’ hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie against guest Triton last Saturday afternoon at the McVann-O’Keefe Rink in Peabody. With that result, the Pioneers went 0-1-1 against the Vikings this season.
