THE FALL sports season at NRHS is officially underway. A double rainbow welcomed the Hornet football team to practice this week. The Hornets traveled to Nantucket for a scrimmage on Saturday and they host KIPP Academy on Tuesday. Their final tune-up will be on Friday, 5 p.m. in Wakefield before they kick off the season

North Reading district champion 11-year-olds have a season to remember

THE NRLL 11-year-old All-Stars won the District 13 Championship in July and went to make the sectional finals during a terrific summer run. The players on the roster were: Ben Borkowski, Nathan Boviard, Gabe Dias, Jace Dunn, Lucas Giordano, Jackson Hodge, Dominik Hulett, Charlie Libby, Cameron Mead, Luke Robinson, Pierce Roden, Nik Traino and Tyler Vautin.
