Greenwood firehouse to reopen in July

WAKEFIELD — After running into some unexpected delays with a scheduled renovation of the Greenwood Fire Station, Fire Chief Michael Sullivan expects to have the facility to back in service by July 1.

Keeping the Rockery beautiful

LAST SATURDAY members of the Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association planted 60  begonias on the Rockery. They replaced the hundreds of tulips that had been planted last fall (and bloomed this spring). This is an annual tradition by the WCNA to keep the Rockery beautiful.
