CONGRATULATIONS GO out to the Wakefield seventh grade boys' basketball team for winning the Woburn Basketball Tournament for the second year in a row. The tournament took place over the December Holiday vacation. In the front row (kneeling from left to right) are Michael Iannuzzi, Jack Ryan, Max Dimella, Jack Penney, Eric Keefe and Stefano Fabiano. SHAWN CARLSON, of Wakefield and running for Bishop Fenwick, won the Div. 5 state title in the 600 meter run on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. He ran a blazing time of 1:22.34 over runner up Nevin Wallis of Martha’s Vineyard who ran a time of 1:24.17. On Saturday at the All-State championship meet, Carlson will be seeded third.
