FALMOUTH — Catherine A. Feeney, 65, passed away at Falmouth Hospital on Sept. 24.
Catherine was born in Melrose on May 5, 1951 to the late Paul and Helen (Brussard) Feeney. She was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1969.
Cathy lived in Melrose for many years, North Reading, North Andover, Newburyport and the last few years in Falmouth. She worked as a sales representative for several paper companies for many years and then for Chelsea Clock for several years.
Catherine enjoyed going on cruises, traveling to Las Vegas, New Orleans, Florida and other parts of the United States. She loved music, going to the theater and always enjoyed a good restaurant.
Cathy was the loving mother of Cynthia Scully and her husband Liam of Marshfield and Brian Crowe and his wife Laine of Boston. She was the grandmother of Colleen, Caitlin, Michael, Reid and Henley. She was the sister of Paul Feeney of Melrose, Jane Wilson of Colorado, Michael Feeney of Seekonk, John Feeney of Melrose and Edward Feeney of Auburn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
