Longtime resident, worked at Town Hall

 

Dale-Hoban-Obit-webENGLEWOOD, Fla. — Dale (Stanchfield) Hoban, 74, of Englewood, Fla. passed away March 5 at the Harbor Inn of Venice.

Memorial services were held at Polynesian Village on March 19. Born to Sumner and Violette Stanchfield in Cambridge, Dale grew up in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High in 1960. A longtime resident of Lynnfield, she worked for the Wakefield Savings Bank, the Kernwood Restaurant and the Lynnfield Town Hall before retiring to the community of Polynesian Village in Englewood, Fla. in 2002.

Dale was the wife of Richard Hoban. She was the mother to Derek. She was the mother-in-law to Jennifer and grandmother to Adam and Zachary Hoban. She was the loving cousin to Abby, Barbara, John and Tom Russell. Dale loved her cats, reading, crafting, going to the beach and traveling. She was a devoted mother and wife and enjoyed celebrating the good times of this life with her close friends. She is missed by the many who loved her as a family member and as a friend. The family asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
