WAKEFIELD — Deborah M. Flynn, 52, of Wakefield died Sunday, Dec. 21, at her home.

Born in Boston on Oct. 2, 1962, she was the daughter of George LeBrun of Mission Hill and the late Grace (Morgan) LeBrun.

Debbie was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Copley Square High School, Class of 1981. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1991 and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She had worked as a special needs aide in Wakefield Memorial High School and had also worked at Marshalls in Stoneham. Debbie was a lover of animals, especially dogs and cats. She also enjoyed decorating, shopping and refurbishing old furniture.

Above all, she relished spending time with family.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Thomas P. Flynn and the loving mother of Morgan S. and Jennifer S. Flynn of Wakefield. She was the sister of Lucy Porro and her husband Thomas of West Roxbury, Marc LeBrun of Manchester, N.H. and Francis Morgan of Oklahoma. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o’clock.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
