MELROSE — Deborah L. “Debby” Orsillo, of Melrose passed away peacefully at home on November 1 at the age of 71.

One of her greatest joys was spending time with her beloved granddaughter Wednesday Alice with whom she shared many special outings including their trips to The Nutcracker in Boston. Their last adventure was attending the Halloween Happening at the Museum of Science, an event that was one of Debby’s favorite’s because it brought her family together in music.
Debby’s pride for her only child Walter was unwavering, especially as she celebrated their continued success in being nominated for many Boston Music Awards and in pursuing a career in art that combined both talent and passion.
Debby was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. Known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family, she took immense pleasure in decorating her home for the holidays, celebrating milestones and embracing the simple joys of life. Her legacy is carried on through the love, laughter and treasured memories shared by her family and friends.
