Born in Italy, lived in North Reading for 32 years

Gabriella-Dimeo-webNORTH READING — Gabriella A. (DiGiovanni) DiMeo, 76, of North Reading and formerly of Stoneham and Pescara, Italy, died at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.

Born in Pescara, Italy on Feb. 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Superior Court Justice of Genoa, Italy, Marino Conte and Angelina DiGiovanni.

Gabriella worked as a secretary for many years for her husband’s architectural firm, Peter F. DiMeo Associates, Inc. in Stoneham. She had been a resident of North Reading for the past 32 years. She was a member of St. Theresa Church in North Reading and a former member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham.

Family members include her loving husband of 58 years, Peter F. DiMeo; her loving children, Frank A. DiMeo and his wife Julie, all of North Reading and Brigitte G. Nenninger and her husband Frank of Salisbury, Conn.; her brother, Bruno DiGiovanni of Pescara, Italy and her granddaughter, Hunter Nenninger.

Gabriella’s funeral was held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading on Monday, Aug. 29  followed by a funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, 63 Winter St. (Rt.62), North Reading.
